Job Posting for Automotive Runner at Central Maine Motors Auto Group
Central Maine Motors Auto Group is looking to fill a full-time Runner position to service all of our dealerships.
Job responsibilities include:
Transports new and used vehicles between stores, to other dealerships, the body shop, or any other location as requested.
- Picks up and delivers parts for vehicle repair or reconditioning.
- Drives vehicles operating in a safe manner and within all dealership and motor vehicle laws, rules and regulations.
- Plans travel route to ensure most economical use of time.
- Washes vehicle exteriors and vacuums interiors as needed.
- Notifies Reconditioning Manager of any issues or concerns with vehicle condition.
- Works effectively with others by valuing and practicing teamwork at all times and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm and every other Saturday.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Maine Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend both written and oral instructions and information
- Ability to effectively operate both automatic and manual transmissions
- “Can-do” attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
