Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator at Central Moloney, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient movement of materials and products within our manufacturing facility. Your responsibility will be to operate forklifts to transport goods, equipment, or materials to and from designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials to and from designated locations within the facility.
- Load and unload materials onto trucks, shelves, or production lines.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating forklifts and handling materials.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or production areas.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate material movement and prioritize tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating forklifts.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy materials upwards of 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Information:
- This position is full-time with competitive pay DOE of $17 - $19 per hour.
- Shift timing: Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm – 12 am, however, the shift is subject to change per business needs. Due to this reason, we are asking for open availability.
- Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods and lifting to 50 lbs.
