Mortgage Loan Officer- Purchase Team

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining loans for various purposes. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. We are specifically hiring for our purchase team. This team is led by a purchase gurue with 20 years of experience. Our goal is within 2 years you are 100% self producing all of your own leads with referral based business, and we will help you get there.

```Duties```

- Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of applicants

- Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining the different types of loans available and helping them choose the most suitable option

- Collect and analyze financial information, such as credit reports, income statements, and bank statements

- Assess the risk associated with each loan application and make recommendations based on your findings

- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure that loans meet all necessary criteria and documentation is complete

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in lending practices

- Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals in the industry to generate new business opportunities

```Skills```

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of bank lending products and services

- Experience in loan processing and origination

- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws

- Proven track record in financial sales and meeting sales targets

- Knowledge of TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations

- Understanding of mortgage servicing procedures

- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable loan terms for clients

- Proficiency in using loan origination software (e.g., Quicken)

- Accurate 10-key typing skills to efficiently process loan applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $133,933.00 - $160,536.00 per year
