As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will be originating and managing a portfolio of ag and commercial loans, with the overall object of maintaining and increasing asset quality; to develop new and existing business relationships, and sustain consistent high quality loan growth that meets the banks goals and objectives.

Day-to-Day:
Manage all aspects of an assigned portfolio of loans (ag and commercial) and relationships.
Structure and analyze new and renewed loan requests (ag and commercial) and assign accurate and timely risk grades.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for the delivery of quality and effective customer service.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for the production and growth of high quality loans (ag and commercial).
Implement strategies to maximize new and existing loan relationships (ag and commercial).
Analyze and evaluate the management skills and abilities of loan customers (ag and commercial).
Ensure effective delivery of sales and service training programs relating the bank's loan products.
Under the direction of senior management, assist in the determination of the appropriate loan product mix needed to develop market potential and provide guidelines in development of marker and profit plans related to the lending strategies of the bank.
Preparation of accurate and high quality credit write-ups and loan presentations to the loan committees and other loan approval authorities.
Complete and document accurate financial analysis, including accurate project and global cash flow analysis for loan customers (ag and commercial).
Effectively monitor existing loan relationships, including financial and collateral monitoring, loan covenants and required reporting requirements (Borrowing Base Certificates, etc.).

Qualifications:
Five to eight years of similar or related experience. (Ag experience is preferred)
A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
Candidates should possess strong planning, organizational, sales, presentation, negotiation, PR, and communication skills.
