Position Function:The Loan Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the Product Managers in all matters pertaining to the end-to-end process for the following products/services/channels: Credit Card, HELOC, Consumer loans/lines, Small Business etc. Activities include, but will not be limited to, data retrieval, data analysis, market assessments, business case writing, implementation of various initiatives, project management, and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and presentations.

Primary Accountabilities:
Assist Product Managers in data retrieval and reporting:
- Communicate and gather data on a timely basis in order to meet Product Management reporting deadlines.
- Develop and build data queries from applicable data sources, such as the, Enterprise Data Warehouse, ThoughtSpot, or third party vendor systems.
- Maintain and produce various Product Management monthly reports such as but not limited to portfolio balances, new production, promotion results, budgeting etc. in a meaningful and informative format on a timely basis.
- Provide insight and recommendations in order to improve data collecting and reporting responsibilities.
- Provide recommendations on potential new target markets, existing product enhancements or simplification and other product feasibilities.
- Prepare presentations for Product Management in a clear and professional format.
Project Management:
- Help manage the implementation of product changes, pricing changes and promotions which include but are not limited to analyzing market segments and existing product portfolios, conduct “what if” analyses to determine feasibility and impact of pricing decisions, branch memos, procedure development, meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
- Work closely with project development teams, task forces and vendors for the bank’s products and services.
Compliance:
- Work with Marketing and Compliance areas of the Bank on promotion initiatives as directed.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, and the bank’s policies and procedures, affecting the employee’s job duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and related requirements, and other consumer protection regulations, and industry, ethical or fiduciary practices or standards, as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field
Experience:
Required:
- 2 years of experience in project management and financial/data analysis experience
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Tableau and SQL
Preferred:
- 1 years of banking or related experience
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
