Janitorial Worker

Central Utah 911 is seeking an individual to work as a janitorial for the communication center. As a 24x7x365 operation, we need to make sure our facility is clean and presentable at all times.

This position is responsible for the routine cleaning of our building. This position is part-time approximately 20 hours per week. Usually 4 hours per day Monday-Friday. Time of day flexible and determined with candidate.

Typical Duties/Requirements:

• Complies with all policies and procedures.
• Represents the organization by promoting our mission and values.
• Utilizes appropriate interpersonal skills in communicating and interacting with the public, co-workers, supervisors and managers, and others in the performance of the job duties.
• Performs custodial and cleaning services such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment, cleaning windows, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and break room, polishing fixtures, and stocking supplies.
• May be required to work outside of regular business hours as needed and may be required for emergency cleanup and repairs or scheduled maintenance work.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee may be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry items up to 50 pounds.
• The employee may be required to push, pull, lift, and/or move carts of items up to 100 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen on/by the date of the application.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass an extensive criminal background investigation.
