What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor - Ainsworth, NE position at Central Valley Ag Cooperative?
PURPOSE
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for the oversight of feed warehouse that has feed products coming in and going out.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees in the loading of feed products for customers.
- Oversees with sales/office operations.
- Conducts and helps manage inventory.
- Monitors and keeps supervisor apprised of inventory levels.
- Manages automated packaging line including tracking efficiency, housekeeping and maintenance.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Assists in ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Complies with current Central Valley Ag credit policies.
- Maintains and promotes a safe work environment.
- Assists other divisions and locations as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 1 to 4 employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in conjunction with division heads. Focus on highly engaged workforce with great communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- High School or GED diploma.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
- Experience in forklift operations preferred.
- Able to learn feed software including robotic software.
- Good basic mechanical and electrical skills.
- Strong competencies in computer applications including Microsoft products.
- Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.
