ASNT NDT Level II Certification – ultrasonic testing / full body testing
Leadership Experience – preferably supervising 3 or more employees.
API 5CT Experience– Casing and Tubing
Hands-On Leadership– willing to lead by example.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of NDT inspectors, providing direction, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Conduct ultrasonic testing and full-body inspections in accordance with ASNT standards and API 5CT requirements, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in NDT techniques.
Ensure compliance with API casing and tubing standards throughout the inspection process, maintaining high-quality standards and accuracy in evaluation.
Actively participate in the inspection process as a line leader, leading by example and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to address any issues or concerns related to NDT inspections, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of NDT activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for the team, following company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize NDT operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
Additional Skills (Desired):
Knowledge of other NDT techniques such as magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), or visual testing (VT).
Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards related to NDT inspections.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders.
Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in NDT operations.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
