Centrum Health, Inc. your choice in primary care, focusing on delivering industry-leading quality of care and affordability to the people we serve in Florida, Texas and the North Carolina markets, is currently looking to hire a full-time medical front desk receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills. The position will be located at our Dallas, TX medical clinic with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
To ensure success, a candidate should be confident and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the primary care clinic. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
- Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.
- Verify Insurance and Benefits day before patient's visit.
- Patient Registration experience.
Medical Receptionist Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Bi-lingual, English and Spanish required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility/ clinic in a medical receptionist role.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations.
- Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Excellent documentation, communication.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
