Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Travel Candidates only
Pay Rate: Local-$2100 to travel-$2232 Weekly (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg
Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p - 7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Current Med Surg Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
- EMR experience - Required
- TeleStrip Certified - Required
- Willing to float to ICU (Acute need unit) - Required
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
- COVID Vaccinations or exemptions - Required
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN Preferred
- RN License for State of New Hampshire or Compact - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- PALS Certification from AHSA Required
Job Description:
- The professional nurse providing care to medical/surgical patients utilizing all components of the nursing process (assesses, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates) in the plan of care.
- Must assess and identify patient problems/needs
- Will establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress
- Responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating patients
- Use EMR for documents
- Read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations
- Float to ICU which is just a more acute need unit
