Pay rate: $40.87/hour
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Activity Therapist to join our team at the Roxbury Correctional Institution located in Hagerstown, Maryland.
The Activities Therapist provides rehabilitative programs and services through appropriate patient assessment, service planning, therapeutic activities, discharge planning, and community reintegration to develop, maintain, or restore physical, emotional, and social competencies of the patients. This professional provides recovery-focused treatment activities and participates on the treatment teams of patients assigned.
Qualifications
- Active mental health professional license, LCPC or LCSW in the state of Maryland
- Experience working in a correctional mental health setting, preferred
