Overview
Centurion Health is proud to partner with the state of Indiana as the new provider of medical and behavioral health services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Indiana Women's Prison located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Indiana Women's Prison is an all women's facility and is home to the Officer Breann Leath Memorial Maternal-Child Health Unit. This unit encourages the preservation of family by allowing women to stay with their children while offering education and resources to support successful re-entry.
Responsibilities
The Site Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s). The Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Site Medical Director will collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and will participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Active, unrestricted Indiana Medical License
- Active, unrestrcted DEA
- Ability to pass background screening

- Day Shift
- Monday - Friday
- No nights, holidays or weekends
