SUMMARY
To provide enhanced customer service to current and new top level players at Mountaineer Casino.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides enhanced customer service and additional on-property host presence for higher-end Winners’ Zone club members in an effort to foster loyalty and incremental gaming revenue.
- Creates an on-floor presence and serves as the primary position that is customer-facing for greeting and bidding farewell for players.
- Assists in arranging all customer requests throughout the trip as well as at checkout such as show tickets, dinner reservations, transportation, and available comps based off of player ratings.
- Actively approaches and checks in with current hosted players on the floor.
- Meets and achieves departmental goals as well as goals set forth by management including, but not limited to, production, comps, and customer interactions.
- Executes management objectives while continually adapting to the evolving environment of the business.
- Assist in promotions and special events as needed. Be prepared to answer questions on promotions and events for guests.
- Follows Company and departmental SOPs to ensure compliance. Utilizes reporting methodologies to achieve greater profitability.
- Complete all required reports as requested.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Player Development Executive then to the Director of Marketing.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must exhibit excellent judgment and high moral integrity.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- You will need to be available to work all shifts.
- The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 2 Table Game License through the WV Lottery.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy and smoke/secondary smoke environment.
