Job Posting for Moulder Operator at Century Furniture
Position Summary
Responsible for safely setting up, maintaining, and operating moulding machines for upscale furniture
Position Details
Sets up and/or adjust any moulder in plant
Checks stock at beginning and during run for condition of moulding
Makes rough visual inspection of all parts and discards cull pieces
Checks against sketches or master patterns
Helps count parts when run is complete
Checks condition of knives, heads, and other parts of moulder as necessary
Takes knives to file room for storage and/or sharpening
May operate Mould Sander machine
Observes plant safety rules
Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous moulding operator experience preferred
