What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Build Technician position at Century Mold Co?
Job Responsibilities:
What You’ll Be Doing:- Work with inside teams to build end of arm tooling and automation equipment.
- Keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Ability to read drawing, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient at using 3D CAD to understand and build equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, hand tool, and power tool.
- Basic machining skills with milling machines.
- Ability to do mechanical building including control cabinet wiring and pneumatic systems.
- Strong attention to deal with a high degree of accuracy with trouble shooting and debug skills.
Qualifications:
We would love to hear from you if:High school diploma or equivalent, specialized training in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or a related field. Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacture, or repair, machine build experience. Skilled in a range of fabrication and machining processes, including welding, milling, turning, and drilling.
Computer Skills:
3D CAD Software, and Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to learn new software as needed.
