Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the operations, both clinical and administrative, for the Radiation Oncology department. Works closely with Radiation Oncologists to ensure the delivery of accurately prescribed courses of radiation therapy for patients of any age group in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS [note: bold skills and certification are required]
Associates Degree or Certificate
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or,
California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
5 years recent experience in acute hospital setting
5 years experience in area of radiation therapy
3 years management experience
Computer Experience
Bachelor's Degree
