Event Security Guard Recruiter – Electric Forest – June 19th-26th – Rothbury, MI
We are looking to fill a few recruiter positions in the Lakeshore/West Michigan area. Ideal candidates will work with us at the event, as well as recruit others to work.
-Event Pay Rate: $17 - $25 / hour based on experience
-Additional Recruiter Pay Rate: based on number of guards recruited and days worked (discussed in interview)
-Night/day shifts available
-Shift meals included @ event
-You may enjoy the event off your shift with optional free camping

Responsibilities for Recruiting:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of recruiting and human resources principles
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to handle a high volume of applicants and job postings
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools as needed
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of recruiting
Responsibilities for Event:
- Provide support for events, including bag checks, ticketing services, and parking services
- Conduct patrols on foot or in a motorized vehicle
- Respond to security needs and calls for service
- Provide customer service to patrons and employees
- Conduct regular inspections of patrol and fixed post assignments
- Write reports and conduct interviews with victims and witnesses
- Secure crime scenes until local law enforcement arrives
- Work with local public agencies to ensure safety and security goals are met
- Arrive on time in proper uniform
- Stand post, which may require standing or walking for extended periods of time
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education level
- Ability to pass a background check
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
- Ability to memorize and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidents
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for up to 12 hours
- Ability to operate a motorized vehicle
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
