Analytical Chemist - Wet Chemistry

We are currently looking for a Analytical Chemist of Wet Chemistry to join our growing team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop methods for analytical tests, equipment, and chemical analyses.
• Follow procedures meeting established standards and industry requirements.
• Analyze test samples utilizing appropriate wet chemistry analytical methods and/or utilizing proper instrumentation as per written procedures.
• May assist in troubleshooting out of specification test results.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adapt to changes to improve company process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a BS in chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience performing analytical or chemical testing on pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutritional, raw materials, water samples, bulk samples & finished products.
• Knowledge of current USP, AOAC, and other industry standard methods and procedures.
• Must be familiar with wet chemistry techniques, HPLC, chemstation, TLC, HP-TLC, UV Spectrophotometer, Titration, pH, conductivity, FTIR, ELISA, and other chemical equipment, techniques and programs required for pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic product assays/tests.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an analytical laboratory. 3 years of experience is preferred.
