Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud and on-premises solutions.
· Design end-to-end solutions that encompass both cloud-based and on-premises components, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
· Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications to identify opportunities for migration to cloud platforms, making strategic decisions on workload placement.
· Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to communicate design and implementation plans to various stakeholders.
· Stay up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, networking protocols, and security practices to ensure that solutions align with industry best practices.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams, ensuring that solutions are deployed according to design specifications and standards.
· Collaborate with network engineers to design and implement robust and secure networking solutions that enable seamless communication between cloud and on-premises resources.
· Conduct performance assessments and capacity planning exercises to ensure the optimal utilization of resources and the ability to handle future growth.
· Identify potential risks and issues related to architecture, security, and scalability, and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability.
· Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, providing expertise in both cloud and on-premises components.
· Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes for technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and architectural goals.
Experience
· Proven experience (5 years) as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing hybrid cloud and on-premises solutions.
· Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like compute, storage, networking, and security.
· Configuration of Azure B2B and B2C connections
· In-depth understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and SDN.
· Proficiency in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance architectures.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Licenses and Credentials
· AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
