At Certified Power Solutions we are snow and ice specialists. We develop turnkey snow and ice removal systems for snowplow trucks designed to fit the needs of our customers and truck up-fitters.
Leveraging key relationships with the industry’s top manufacturers of valves, custom manifolds, pumps, motors, actuators and more, our knowledgeable and technical sales force works with our engineers to create and design complex engineering solutions.
The Operations Manager will provide overall management leadership and responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Fridley, MN facility including financial, operations, growth, safety, community interaction and the business objectives. Drive the effective execution of the annual operating plan (AOP) for the location.
What an Operations Manager will do
- Day to day operations management including planning, execution, scheduling, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and process improvements
- Direct management of the purchasing, planning, and production and assembly departments to ensure efficient business execution, favorable materials price management, and efficient logistics.
- Control/manage operating costs for respective operations and departments
- Be bold, engaging, inspiring and urgent leader who knows how to evaluate, energize and motivate a team.
- Encourages and promotes individual differences to enhance discussions, decisions, results.

Requirements
What an Operations Manager needs to have
- Minimum of 10 years of experience including 2 years in Industrial distribution with 2 years of P&L responsibility
- Prior supervisory experience, including exposure to facility oversight; multi-site management a plus
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or assembly of engineered products
- Knowledge of and/or experience with fluid power, automation, and electronic controls
- Excellent relationship building skills; communicates effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- High level of initiative and ability to multitask
