POSITION SUMMARY:
This position involves the preparation of aircraft for painting in accordance with company procedures. Assists more experienced painters as directed.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the Paint Shop Forman.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Mask aircraft for protection as needed throughout the painting process, including for strip and stripping and for aerodynamic sealer.
2. Sanding skin and primer.
3. Polishing bright work.
4. Operate basic air tools required for paint shop.
5. Assist other painters with basic duties.
6. Assist with detailing the aircraft for customer delivery.
7. Any other duties and tasks as requested or assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Ensures all HazMat items are properly stored as per Federal, local, and base procedures and assist with hazmat. Insures MSDS books are kept updated. Works counter window in a timely manner as to not impede workflow. And other duties as assigned.
Forklift Experience Required
Ground Service Equipment Mechanic
Staring at $18/hr depending on experience
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Ground Service Equipment. Inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Service, maintenance, repair and replace all parts of GSE type equipment. Diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications. Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and re-installs GSE accessories and components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Stencils and marks GSE. Services equipment with fuel, oil, coolant, water, hydraulic fluid, and air. Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles. Maintains vehicle forms and spare parts inventory. Provides dispatch services for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations. Counts, sorts and weighs incoming parts, supplies and equipment to verify precise receipt of items as per itemized purchase orders and invoices.
2. Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs GSE. Advises and performs troubleshooting on GSE before assigning repair action. Inspects and approves completed maintenance actions.
3. Prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment. Solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications.
4. Uses automated maintenance system to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions. Analyzes and repairs ground support equipment using conventional and digital multimeters, voltmeters,
Ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
5. Maintains external fuel and grounding systems. Stores, handles, uses, and
disposes of hazardous material and waste according to environmental standards.
6. Stores all GSE parts, supplies and equipment in their assigned locations according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material. Ensures all Hazardous Material (HazMat) items are properly stored as per Federal, local and base policies and assists with monitoring HazMat.
7. Plans and organizes GSE maintenance activities. Establishes production controls and standards. Determines resource requirements, including facilities, training, equipment, and supplies. Determines equipment serviceability criteria where it does not exist.
8. Conduct quality GSE training to facility assigned personnel.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer two (2) years of aircraft ground service equipment experience in the last five (5) years.

- This position requires a current driver’s license.
- Must maintain medical clearance to perform duties.
