As a Family Advocate, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the families we serve. If you are a person who thrives with variety, this role will be a good fit for you. You will coordinate services and activities that promote the well-being of families and our community. You will do this by directly assisting families through individualized case management in their home; bridging connections between families, classroom staff, and essential community services; and empowering families to advocate for themselves and their children. You will also get the opportunity to gain leadership experience by planning family events and getting involved in community outreach.

We have a 40 hours/week position available in Manitowoc County. Flexible schedule based on needs of families & program needs. Typical Hours M-F between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Position is a school year-based position - mid-August through early June, with limited summer hours available. This position is scheduled to begin in August 2024.
Qualifications: High School Diploma with Home Visiting/Case Management Experience. If needed, additional training will be provided to complete Head Start Performance Standards. Willingness to begin coursework toward a Family Services Certificate within one year is required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or another related field is preferred. Bilingual Candidates are encouraged to apply.
Wage: $19.31/HR with an AA up to $21.31 with an MA
