Event Technician (Non Driver)

Description

Event Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of events by handling the packing, transportation, installation, and breakdown of all necessary décor items. This encompasses a wide range of elements, such as floral arrangements, glassware, props, furniture, lighting equipment, and linens. Flexibility is key as Event Technicians are expected to assist wherever necessary to guarantee flawless execution. Additionally, they may be assigned other duties as required to meet the dynamic needs of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Familiar with industry terms and can read the paperwork provided to apply for the job
• demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Meets productivity standards as required by management; completes work quickly and efficiently; strives to increase productivity; works quickly and efficiently.
• When encountering guests or other vendors in a venue or at the Beautiful Blooms Studio, Set Up/Breakdown team members are expected to greet them courteously.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests.
• Establishes and maintains effective relations; exhibits tact and consideration for others; offers assistance and support to co-workers; works cooperatively in group situations; works actively to resolve conflicts.
• Actively and accurately follows delivery paperwork and guidance from the Team Leader.
• Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for this position must:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or training.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required in this position.
• Able to communicate and understand English.

Physical, Psychological, and Working Environment:

The employee is expected to stand, walk, use hands for tasks such as handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively. Additionally, the employee must regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision capabilities essential for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
