Flooring Installer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties: - Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile - Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas - Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling - Install underlayment and moisture barriers as needed - Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations - Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation - Inspect completed work for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs - Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role - Knowledge of fixture installation, water damage restoration, concrete finishing, and maintenance person tasks is a plus - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $18.65 - $20.44 per hour
