General Purpose of the Position:
As a part of an overall manufacturing team, be able to prepare and wash parts, make basic setups on all trolleys. Meet GMP and safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Typical Responsibilities - Key Activities
Includes the following. Other duties might be assigned:
- Assist in performing required support presses and coater
- In conjunction with other associates, assist in performing quality printing and meeting manufacturing
goals
- Maintain the parts washing machine, clean and wash parts
- Troubleshoot equipment as necessary
- Disassemble trolleys and parts before cleaning and assemble trolleys and parts after cleaning
- Disassemble doctor blades before cleaning and reassemble them after cleaning
- Maintain parts in good condition
- Perform appropriate PM and cleaning on equipment
Knowledge:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of computer software and functions, including PDC and SAP functions.
