What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at CFO Hub?
CFO Hub is seeking a Controller with the desire to grow into a CFO Role.This position is with a client and not with CFO Hub.
This a full-time, hybrid role located in Poway, CA. The ideal candidate has experience in financial modeling and strategic financial planning. Public accounting experience is a plus for both levels.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly financial statement preparation
- Oversee the Company’s ESOP program and conduct annual audits and cash flow forecasting needs
- Management of bookkeeping, cash, and AR/AP
- Provide financial management, reporting and analysis to achieve the organization's mission
- Oversee fiscal reporting activities
- Monitoring compliance
- Develop and maintaining systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
- Monitor and improve upon clients' internal controls
- Manage and/or assist with the implementation of accounting systems and processes
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Comfortable with meeting deadlines and budgets
- CPA License or licensing in-process preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
- Great plains and/or Infor experience required
- ASC 606 experience
Preferred but not required:
- ERP implementation experience
- WOC audit experience

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
