CFO Worx is a Finance Consultancy providing Fractional CFO services, M&A preparation support, bookkeeping services, monthly financial packages, and budgeting/financial modeling to small and mid-size businesses in the US.
Our client is a Repair Station in Kissimmee, FL. They are looking for a full-time Controller/Accounting Manager. Our client has around 30 employees. You will be reporting to the CF. The system used is Quantum. Daily work schedule 7am-3pm. This position is 1099.
Finance/Accounting responsibility
- Daily cash management reporting
- Prepares and distributes Daily Sales reporting.
- Consolidates monthly reporting
- Prepares and distributes monthly financial reports.
- Ensures that assigned bank account reconciliations are prepared & approved
- Prepares all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produces and distributes the monthly Bank LBR (Loan Base Report)
- Directs invoice processing and verifications, expense coding, and the drafting of checks and vouchers.
- Ensures that sales tax returns are timely prepared and collected taxes are timely remitted to the taxing authorities.
- Reviews and performs monthly and annual closing process.
- Assists auditors with timely requests during examinations.
Human Resources responsibility
- Weekly payroll administration.
- Oversees the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Schedules and conducts new employee orientations
- Monitors leave of absence programs to ensure legal compliance.
- Interprets human resources policies and procedures; educates employees and managers on policy and legal compliance.
- Conducts open enrollment for benefits, prepares open enrollment benefit materials and literature, and coordinates annual benefit fair.
- Consults with supervisors regarding human resources-related issues, needs, and services; counsel employees on human resources programs, policies and processes; explains program provisions, procedures, and eligibility requirements; and assists employees with forms and human resources documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business.
- Knowledge & adherence of GAAP.
- Experience working in a manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-cultural, cross-geography, and multi-disciplinary teams, i.e., sales, operations, marketing, finance, and customer service.
- Experience of dealing with government contracts a benefit

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
