Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Director – Data Services to support critical engagements for Healthcare Payor. The director will be responsible for delivery of data projects and will work with the Client Executive team (Sr. Directors, VPs, Business and Technology) to run various programs and deliver them per client guidelines.
The leader will work closely with other data teams in the organization to ensure that the CGI meets all business and regulatory requirements. The candidate must demonstrate thought leadership in the ETL, data warehouse, data governance and have excellent communication skills fostering collaboration across the organization. The candidate in addition must also be an expert in the areas of data sciences and analytics including the migration, storage and consumption of data.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead global data delivery on client engagements. This leader will have senior management responsibility with a significant focus on the delivery of data projects to our clients. You will manage client relationships and members. You will manage a global team of experts who will provide data services to meet client needs.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 -$203,400.”

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Understand client needs and develop data solutions for our healthcare payor clients
- Manage client expectations in partnership with account management teams on all aspects of data delivery and integration.
- Apply delivery and customer management best practices.
- o Lead a global team responsible for an ETL, Data Warehouse, reporting and production support.
- o Single point of escalation for issues within the team.
- o Manages technical delivery, global resources in platform tower.
- Lead and manage a large project team
- Near shore and off-shore team management
- Work with management to secure appropriate resources for the project.
- Create and track a project plan and task break down
- Analyze complex requirements and assist with creation detailed design documents
- Work with project team to pro-actively identify and manage risks/issues and decisions during the life of the project.
- Oversee that team is following functional group's process and procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Ability to write & review Informatica PowerCenter, IICS & SQL code
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle 10g or higher
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica Power Center
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing projects/technical team lead -
5 years’ experience leading and delivering data solutions
7 years of experience delivering data platform and business and information technology solutions to the healthcare payor. (understanding healthcare data in a payor)
Good To have:
Previous experience in solutioning data services deals, large managed services deals, digital transformation deals
- Business development experience including strategic sales planning.
- A keen, flexible and solution-oriented intellect; superior conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. – FLEXIBLE
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
