We're growing rapidly and are looking for a Java Developer with a passion for solving problems and looking to join our team, for an exciting opportunity on a growing Public Sector program. This project will be supporting our Northern California team from our Belton, TX delivery center. At CGI, you'll do more than just sling code, you will solve challenging business and technical problems as a full-time consultant serving local, enterprise clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
• Design, develop, and unit test assigned user stories and service requests within the Maintenance and Operations (M&O) backlog
• Lead Batch monitoring and support all relevant M&O activities
• Complete user stories and service requests on M&O backlog to meet contractual SLA
• Good team player that can collaborate with development, operations, and service desk teams to triage and resolve issues.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and can juggle multiple priorities.
• Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly around tasks, impediments, and risks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
What you'll bring
• 1-3 years of the Java and Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring security)
• Prior experience with Merative/IBM Curam framework is a huge plus
• 1 years of UI development (Angular, React, HTML, CSS)
• 1 years of experience with Cloud services. AWS is a huge plus
• 1 years of relational database, specifically DB2
• 1 years of experience on DynamoDB or other NOSQL database
• Strong knowledge of REST service development
