CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.
A Brief Overview
The CMMS Administrator will be responsible for leading the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application used across all contracts. The CMMS Administrator will manage CMMS staff, oversee the budgeting, planning and execution of all upgrades and serve as the primary source of support for the CMMS. This includes but not limited to, administration, maintenance, end user related issues, project management, general support and training all staff on the application. This is a working lead role and the position is expected to perform CMMS Administrator functions as noted in the job description.
What you will do
- Leads & provides technical direction for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) support team.
- Assigns work to various CMMS team members to ensure successful execution of the CMMS systems throughout the company. Includes leading team meetings, tracking and communicating of assigned projects, quality assurance review of tickets, projects, etc. and providing guidance in support of successful outcomes. Leads the on boarding, training and development of new employees including third party support of on boarding efforts.
- Leads testing efforts related to new functionality, new modules and upgrades to existing modules including creating test plans, test cases and working to ensure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process is followed by employees.
- Leads Global CMMS efforts including data gathering, cleanup efforts, standards development, report development & modification, quality review, work flow process development, on site data collection & asset verification, asset tagging (& associated supporting pictures etc.), blueprint/drawings review, PM loading & development. Includes travel to associated sites as necessary.
- Database management including contractor support, database analysis, along with creating, clean up and maintenance of Asset Hierarchy practices for each database. Performs duties related to a Solutions Architect by assisting with software integrations connected and/or associated with various CMMS systems. (D365, Power bi, etc.) Maintain back end of On-Prem SQL databases. Assisted with cloud migration and/or cloud structure working with designated vendors for various CMMS projects.
- Inputs asset data into the Computerized Maintenance Manager System (CMMS). Provides support to the operating staff for quarterly updates and changes to preventive maintenance tasks and schedule events as needed. Provides technical guidance and problem-solving by responding to user needs via phone, webinar and or in-person.
- Identifies and tracks system-level risks and issues. Serves as escalation point to resolve system issues, remove roadblocks, formulate contingency plans, and communicate status to executive leadership team. Ensures the sequencing of databases is appropriate at the system level.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across divisions to identify information technology project objectives, milestones, resource requirements, budget, deliverables, and change management.
- Guides and performs strategic analysis and requirements definition among stakeholders with diverse and often conflicting business needs.
- Directs the application of various technical disciplines such as process improvement, data analysis, architectural review, quality assurance, and facilitation. Provides objective advice, expertise and support to team members with the aim of creating value and meeting business expectations.
- Promotes high level of customer service to ensure and drive best practices and standardization. Recommends solutions to various CMMS systems issues. Includes assigned tickets to support resolution of field issues on a routine basis. Issues can include simple fixes, complex project request, database and/or system problems along with after hours call support for CMMS systems at various times.
- Performs duties of Owners Representation/Consultant/Project Manager as assigned for CMMS projects (including assisting client with implementing their CMMS solution from beginning of Sales hand off through Go-Live training). Includes data review, stakeholder updates, third-party management, meeting attendance, relationship development and learning new CMMS systems.
- Leads the develop of SOPs and training material. Creates & maintains Work flow practices(SOP’s) for the CMMS system. Leads the training development for staff including training document creation, presentation development and maintenance of training materials. Trains field technicians/managers/directors on functions of CMMS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology or Equivalent Experience Required
- 4-6 years Working knowledge of Power bi and report configuration is a plus Preferred
- 4-6 years Maintenance Connection experience is highly desired Preferred
- 4-6 years Experienced in providing systems training Required
- 4-6 years Experience in managing projects and leadership experience Preferred
- Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies and principles and relies on strong technical and analytical skills.
