Job Description:
seeking a highly energetic and collaborative Project Manager to join our team and lead Agile Scrum teams for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative, coaching, and leadership roles that enable Scrum development and delivery. This role involves coaching and mentoring 2-3 teams simultaneously on Agile principles and project deliverables, driving teams to higher levels of maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative and Coaching Roles:
Serve in both administrative and coaching capacities to facilitate Scrum development and delivery.
Provide one-on-one and team coaching on ceremonies, artifacts, processes, and practices.
Agile Principles and Best Practices:
Embody Agile principles and embed best practices within teams.
Measure and improve Agile maturity, identifying and addressing obstacles.
Team Leadership and Development:
Guide teams on Agile/Scrum practices and values to enhance customer satisfaction.
Foster self-organization and help teams fill gaps in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Assess and coach teams to higher Scrum Maturity levels at a sustainable pace.
Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
Create a trusting and safe environment for raising problems without fear of blame.
Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Assist in removing impediments or guide teams to do so by identifying the right personnel.
Communication and Transparency:
Enhance internal and external communication, transparency, and information radiating.
Support and educate the Product Owner in grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
Lead strategic initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders and sponsors.
Exhibit strong communication and leadership skills, able to work independently and resolve conflicts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Project Management:
Proficient in IT project management including SAFe Agile.
Experience in strategic planning and multitasking while supervising people.
Agile Expertise:
Strong knowledge of PI Planning, Sprint ceremonies, and tracking impediments.
Experience in both Agile and Waterfall models, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Communication and Leadership:
Excellent communication, hiring, training, and coaching skills.
Strong team leadership, networking, and negotiating skills.
Self-Starter:
Ability to work with minimal guidance, leading independently and resolving conflicts effectively.
People Management and Software Development:
Exposure to people management, Agile project management, software development, and quality assurance.
