Chadwell Supply is a maintenance supply company that services multiple areas throughout the US. We are currently seeking a Sourcing Manager to keep up with our growth.
Overview
The Sourcing Manager manages assigned product category to meet customer and company objectives. This includes product replenishment necessary to conduct business as well as negotiations with suppliers to obtain merchandise at appropriate prices, deliveries, and quantities. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for product quality for all suppliers. This position also develops and enhances strategic alliances with all key suppliers, works with suppliers to develop effective merchandising programs, and ensures all suppliers achieve and maintain targeted fill-rates with the shortest possible lead times.
Duties
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
- Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
- Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data.
Requirements:
- Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
