ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership to dealers through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.
Maintains awareness of pit activity at all times. Acts to reduce or eliminate mistakes, and ensures customers and dealers comply with gaming regulations. Assists customers in playing and ensures adherence to established rules, policies and procedures.
Supervises and develops an effective staff by assisting and making recommendations in hiring, training, rewarding and disciplining staff. Develops staff to meet and exceed performance expectations by establishing and maintaining positive work morale and effective employee relations. Manages supervisors and dealers in the Table Games operations.
Supervises staff in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers: verifies customer winnings; explains gaming rules and regulations, as necessary. Acts to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return whether they win or lose.
Builds and maintains rapport with casino players with the goals of achieving guest satisfaction at all times. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
Exercise appropriate judgment and discretion to identify situations that require the attention of the Table Games Director and or Casino Managers.
Performs other duties, including special projects as needed and directed.
$22/hr based on experience
Experience
Required
3 - 5 years: Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, and gaming rules and regulations. Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting and reconciling, and distributing large sums of money. Demonstrated working knowledge of Blackjack, Craps and Roulette. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with employees and guests. Demonstrated experience supervising and motivating staff.
Preferred
3 - 5 years: Three (3) or more years of recent and related Pit supervisory experience within a gaming environment..
