Order Selector
Job Posting for Order Selector at Champagne Beverage Co Inc
We are seeking an experienced Order Selector to join our warehouse team. As an Order Selector you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Sunday through Thursday: Sunday 12:00 p.m. to finished; Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to finished.
Duties:
- Utilize warehouse management system to locate and pick items for customer orders
- Operate heavy equipment to retrieve items from high shelves
- Pack customer orders securely and accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid drivers license
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Proficient in materials handling, order picking, and order fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers and forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
