Champions Club Texas is opening a new hotel in Houston and is seeking to hire front Desk Agents. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing all of a hotel’s guests with an accommodating experience by coordinating amenities and responding to customer needs. Their duties include greeting people as they enter the lobby, fielding calls from guests and helping visitors check into their rooms.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and register guests while providing outstanding guest service during their stay and settling the guest's account upon completion of their stay
- Provide attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay while maximizing room revenue and occupancy
- Communicate with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
- Up-sell guest rooms and promoting hotel services
- Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up call
- Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer; informs supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or unhappy guests
- Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries, etc. to the guest’s room
- Ensure that the lobby is maintained, clean and tidy by partnering with the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required
- Interact with other departments to ensure that guest's needs are satisfied
- Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events local area attractions and things to do around the hotel
- Understand all aspects of service and be a role model/leader for other team members
- Other duties assigned by management
- Minimum age for the position is 21
