Manager, Application & Transfer Credit Review

Champlain College’s adult-serving online division is searching for a new manager of the admission application and transfer credit review processes. The Manager, Application & Transfer Credit Review reports to the Associate Vice President of Champlain College Online, who is responsible for marketing, admissions, business partnerships, and related operations, and the Manager has a dotted line to the Assistant Provost who is responsible for the Teacher Apprentice Program (TAP). eLearning, academic advising, and academic programs.

The Manager, Application & Transfer Credit Review is responsible for:

  • The efficient functioning of the incoming student experience through creation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of processes and procedures related to application and transfer credit review.

  • Additionally, s/he will have oversight of the application review process, from review, assessment, evaluation, and processing of transfer credit for new, continuing, and returning students, to the final accept/deny recommendation to academic deans and program directors.

This role, in conjunction with appropriate parties determines appropriate interpretation and application of College policies and procedures as related to transfer credit, institutional validation, alternative credit awards, the transcript, and the degree audit report.

The individual in this position must have a solid understanding of Champlain College Online curricula and all requirements for graduation and will work with the academic team to ensure prospective student themes are heard. This person is works cooperatively across the institution to achieve division goals.
