Job Description
This Expert-Level Technical Specialist position will provide backup support and technical assistance to the two existing permanent employee Citrix SME’s. This resource will assist with Citrix environment upgrades and provide day-to-day support of the Citrix environment as needed. The Citrix environment includes XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC (Netscaler), this resource is required to have experience with all of these technologies as well as VMware ESX and all current Windows Server operating systems.
Required Skills:
Administration, engineering, and implementation of Citrix XenApp 7.X & XenDesktop 7.X and above |
Experienced in administration and configuration in Netscaler/ADC v12.1 and above |
XenApp/Desktop testing, GPOs, Citrix Policy, UPM, WEM, Powershell SDK & scripting |
Experience with Citrix Cloud migrations and Citrix Cloud deployments |
Working knowledge of all current Windows Operating Systems, DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO’s & OU’s |
Experience with current versions of VMware ESX |
Basic understanding of storage and connectivity fundamentals |
Experience with ControlUp and the tools used to proactively and reactively manage the Citrix related infrastructure |
Netscaler Load balancing and reverse proxy configurations, GSLB configurations, AAA services, & SSL cert renewals |
Updating and installing SDX & VPX devices, HTTP URL redirects, response policies, and application firewall policies & settings |
Securing SDX and VPX devices, performing & interpreting network captures, and network troubleshooting |
