The Population Health Data Strategist at NC Medicaid's QPHE team facilitates a transformative project, enhancing data exchange between payors and providers for quality improvement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Required Skills:
Project Management skills: Adapt to shifting priorities and needs of multiple stakeholders |
Critical thinking and problem solving skills |
Communication skills: Ability to communicate complex material in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing |
Understanding of data policy, healthcare data exchange, health information technology, population health and care management programs and SDOH |
Relationship building: Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders |
Microsoft Office products: Strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Power Point and word |
Medicaid: Familiarity with Medicaid and health care associated rules, regulations, and standards |
Design: Knowledge and experience in design of population health delivery models, care delivery models, care management, clinical program innovations |
Workflows and processes: Understanding of clinical workflows, including workflows of care management teams |
