What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of New Products position at Change.org?
Change.org is searching for a Head of New Products to research, invent, prototype and deliver brand new products in support of our 5-year plan to evolve from a single petition product to a civic infrastructure platform.
We’re a social impact business (a public benefit company), and the largest tech platform focused on civic action in the world with 100 million monthly users, 50,000 campaigns launched on the site every month, 250 staff members, and a revenue model that has grown by 500% in 2 years. We’re growing quickly, and our users win campaigns for change once every hour. From strengthening hate crime legislation in South Africa; fighting corruption in Indonesia, Italy, and Brazil; to fighting violence against women in India.
We’re looking for a Head of New Products who exercises strong 0 to 1 product judgment, has an analytical mindset, drives results and prioritizes execution, and is an effective people manager and mentor.
As a key member of our Product team, you will report to our Chief Product Officer. This is a fully remote role and you can be based in the United States or Canada.

Target experience:
- 8 years of product management experience with demonstrated experience taking a product from 0 to 1, ideally in a B2C setting
- Strong experience with product discovery and validation in partnership with research, design and analytics
- Experience running analytically-rigorous experiments and making objective data-informed decisions
- Experience working collaboratively across product management, engineering, design, data science, analytics, etc.
- Experience managing 5 direct reports
