Enterprise Monitoring Engineer

Responsibilities: Operate Change Healthcare’s monitoring systems. Plan, design, and implement local and monitoring solutions between multiple platforms. Support and troubleshoot issues and coordinate cross functional teams of SMEs, Product Managers, Process Owners and Vendors across the globe and act as a prime driving force for round about assessment, development of permanent fixes. Provide training to team members and facilitate cross training for different applications. Create capacity plans and help predict possible license purchase and infrastructure requirements to keep the Monitoring environment running as smoothly and as cost effectively as possible. Responsible for selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions and results. Support the service delivery of a third-party workforce supporting multiple monitoring tools and applications. Provide feasible temporary workarounds during major incidents, constantly striving to minimize end user impact. Act as a primary point of contact for any Large-scale Patch activity related to the monitoring environment. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or Electronic) or related field of study. 7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, specific to ITIL processes, enterprise monitoring, and event management. Applicants must have demonstrated experience with: 7 years of experience working with IBM Tivoli Netcool - Omnibus, Webtop, ISM, and Impact. 7 years of experience with IBM Tivoli Monitoring. 4 years of experience working with Solarwinds NPM, NCM, SAM, VMAN, NTA Server and Application monitoring. 2 years of experience with Ayehu Automation. 1 year of experience with Moogsoft AIOPS. 1 year of experience with Appdynamics. ITIL; DB2 and SQL Query language; Unix Shell and Windows batch scripting Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
