Salary:
$44.70 depending on experience!

The RN Supervisor serves as the hub and team leader for all patient care team members on their Pod or team. The RN Supervisor sees patients independently, within their nursing scope, and they assist the MA or provider with complicated cases. This position reports to the Director of Nursing or RN Clinical Coordinator and works as part of a team with the clinic providers, and other clinic support staff to provide quality, coordinated care to patients. In addition, the RN Supervisor provides triage and patient education. This position supervises the LVNs, and MAs within their Pod.
RN Supervisor:
- Leadership and Supervision of nursing care in their Pod.
- Coordinate the daily patient care delivery within their pod or team
- Assist with clinic flow by performing pre-visit assessment for new patients, medication reconciliation, setting the agenda for the visit, and providing patient education.
- Perform/direct patient care services including, but not limited to, admission interview, accurate documentation and timely patient flow.
- Assures accurate medication reconciliation for complex patients on multiple medications
- Triage patient telephone calls utilizing knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice.
Required Experience:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- RN License, current and in good standing with the state of California
- A minimum of two years current nursing experience.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record.
- Sensitive to the health and cultural needs of Native Americans and vulnerable populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team based environment.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current and in good standing; CDL, vehicle insurance, and DMV printout.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Primary Care Clinic experience is strongly desired.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- BSN Preferred
