Job Summary
Responsible for supervising the daily operation of the dining room, member/private events and the service staff.
Job Tasks:
- Ensures excellence in food and beverage operations by overseeing a la carte service and banquet events
- Ensures timely and efficient service of all food and beverages to our members/guests
- Supervises the dining room and banquet staff in the main clubhouse
- Maintains a high level of visibility during service hours to ensure proper service procedures are followed
- Consults with the executive chef and sous chef on the daily features for the main dining room
- Handles all member/guests’ complaints in a timely and efficient manner
- Provides continued training to the service staff on a daily/weekly basis to ensure proper service standards are upheld
- Works in conjunction with the food & beverage director with corrective action plans for the service staff
- Adds insight during the weekly staff meetings to review past and upcoming events, staff needs, continued training and member requests.
- Writes weekly schedule
- Oversee training of new front of house staff members
2 years of food and beverage management required
