Director of Labor and Delivery LD
Northern FL area
Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Director of Labor and Delivery LD for a great opportunity in the Northern FL area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of current experience working in an acute care hospital and have 3+ years of working in a Labor and Delivery unit in a leadership role.
Responsibilities of the Director of Labor and Delivery LD
- Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards in the Labor Delivery Department
- Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team
- Responsible for assessing, planning, administering, evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients, administering all treatments and medications, and maintaining complete and accurate records of nursing assessments and nursing care
- Expertise in recognizing other complications in the intensive care patient based on the patient's disease process and work closely with physicians and other team members in implementing patient care
Requirements of the Director of Labor and Delivery LD
- Bachelor's Degree or MSN preferred
- Must have strong Labor and Delivery experience
- Ability to administer all proper clinical care of the patient
- Ability to work in a team environment Problem-solving skillset
