What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Director/ Manager position at Chariot?
We’re hiring our first Product Manager/ Director, who will report into the CEO and take broad ownership of a fast-growing product suite that is changing the moving industry.
Who We Are
Founded in Summer 2021, Chariot is a vertical SaaS company building the operating system for moving companies and the overall moving experience.
Moving is a universal, stressful, and expensive experience. ~35M Americans (~10% of the country) move every year, in addition to the many moving services needed by businesses, government organizations, and military members. As a result, there’s a massive economy built around moving, with a fragmented ~$30B industry of moving companies at the center.
Running a successful moving company is complex and hard work, especially without the right tools. Yet in an age where modern software has revolutionized how we work, most moving companies are stuck managing their business with a disconnected mix of calendar tools, spreadsheets, paperwork, and out-dated moving CRMs. The result for movers is higher stress, lower profits, and limited industry innovation.
Chariot is finally giving moving companies modern software that simplifies their workload in a single solution. Our founding team has spent years working at Google, Flatiron Health, Cedar, Bain & Company, Bridgewater, ASAPP, and Teachable building modern technology for startups and fortune 500 companies. We’re backed by venture capital investors and co-founders of billion dollar companies, and are advised by moving company operators from across the country. Our initial software is live with happy paying customers – it’s time to scale!
