Service and Parts Associate

Job Description:

Service/parts associate needed to join established team of professionals. We are a dedicated, service oriented business specializing in motorcycles. The typical week is Tuesday - Saturday, some evening and additional hours needed for special events.

Major Duties:

· Provide excellent customer service to all our customers

· Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner

· Must be able to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction

· Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously

· Develop and share knowledge of all motorcycle parts, accessories and motorcycle service

· Point out any sales, special, new merchandise and offer additional product that may compliment the customers service

· Assist customers with determination of parts and accessories requirements for service of their motorcycle and research merchandise in catalogues

· Accept payments for merchandise and service work, keep cash register accurate

· Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service

· Take service technicians orders for parts and fill them as fast as possible

· Assist service technicians in determining parts & accessories requirements for individual jobs

· Recommend related parts and accessories which may be required for a job

· Place all parts and accessories on work orders

· Notify technicians when special parts or back-ordered parts are received

· Maintain cleanliness of parts and accessories department

· Receive and process parts from vendors, check merchandise received against purchase invoice, prepare product for technicians or showroom floor

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

· Must have basic knowledge of motorcycle parts and service and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn

· Must have ability to get along with a broad customer base

· Experience with Point of Sale and computer savvy or the ability to quickly learn

· Knowledge of motorcycle front end, suspension, and engine components with the commitment to continually develop knowledge

· Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogue for particular motorcycle

· Must be a good team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
