Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner

Supervisor: Executive Director & Medical Director

Classification: Part-Time

Purpose:

Non-profit medical clinic seeking an energetic and compassionate individual to work closely with staff and volunteers of Charis Health Center. The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical leadership and support for all clinical staff and volunteers. The Clinical Coordinator will provide leadership for clinical personnel as well as planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of related services.

Charis Health Center’s mission is to deliver quality, compassionate healthcare and health education to those without insurance or the ability to pay for the services they need to ensure our community’s physical and spiritual wellbeing. Charis Health Center operates out of two clinic locations and a mobile health clinic.

:

· Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients of all ages with acute and chronic illness.

· Ordering of laboratory and other diagnostic tests, interpreting findings and performance of necessary treatment and follow-up as indicated.

· Prescription of medication as needed

· Referrals of patients as needed

· Maintenance of clinical records on all patients seen in a manner consistent with confidentiality of health care records.

· Consults and collaborates with key members of clinic.

· Participates in organizing and directing preventative health programs to facilitate optimal health, disease detection, prevention, and management of common illnesses as necessary with approval from the Program Director.

· Participates in management/departmental meetings as requested and provides professional consultation to and supervision of health care support staff and volunteers.

· Current TN FNP license

· Current BLS

· Minimum 1 year of work experience in a clinical setting as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Type: PTE

Salary: $45-$50/hour

Schedule: Flexible schedule, three or four days a week

· Paid time-off, total number of PTO days determined by three-day or four-day schedule.
