Your Opportunity
The Sales and Service Technology division supports client facing systems, sales support systems, service systems and marketing systems. Salesforce.com is the foundation of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems used by the Sales Technology team. Schwab has 14 Salesforce orgs, including the CRM Retail org, which supports sales for our Retail Branches. The CRM Retail org has automated integrations with many other Schwab systems.
As a member of the SSMT-SCORE team, you will be immersed in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment. As a Senior Data Engineer and Solutions Architect you will be responsible for determining the direction of the data integrations teams, architect and design of solutions and over seeing the delivery of those solutions across multiple integration teams. We're looking for team members that are eager to learn and implement new technologies and provide outstanding CRM solutions.
What you are good at
- Analyzing business and systems requirements and providing technical solutions to meet user requirements
- Designing and developing solutions application platform integrating with backend systems and working closely with our development, QA, product teams and Architects
- Over seeing work products of various team
- Creating and setting standards for teams to follow
- Researching new solutions and working with team to provide proof of concepts and establish new patterns.
- Ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
- Collaborating with business partners on issues
- Partnering with application and data developers on designs, models and best in class implementation
- Interacting with experts from across Schwab in different support organizations and business groups
- Being a member of Agile team(s) that focuses on delivering what the client needs
- Assisting in design and development of data quality and data drift detection software
- Implementing data integration ETL in Informatica Power Center and/or IICS
- Providing production support for data issues, including data fixes across platforms
- Leading efforts to analyze data models, data interfaces and dependencies of the older CRM platform; planning, specifying, and developing new data integrations and interfaces to enable retirement of the old platform
- Working closely with DBAs, data analysts, developers, and production support to identify and fix data issues that cross platforms

- Strong foundational understanding data integration methodologies, data warehousing, RDBMS systems concepts and technologies
- Demonstratable problem solving and troubleshooting skills, coupled with a desire to take on responsibilities; solutions oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex system issues in business terminology
- Ability to design data solutions based on business requirements to meet the strategic direction of the company.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
- Experience interfacing with business partners at various levels
- Demonstrated ability to understand the business functions that the team supports
- Ability to work independently as a member of an Agile scrum team
- Track record of being detailed oriented; a self-starter having deliverables with minimal defects
- Must be able to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies
- Experience supporting production operations in a high-availability environment
- Experience interfacing with multiple technology domain partners, including offshore vendor teams and internal groups
- Must be able to coach and mentor junior members on the team
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or similiar study
Required Skills
- Expert in building and changing Informatica flows using PowerCenter 10.4 and/or IICS
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle and other RDBMS solutions
- Expert level of SQL knowledge
- Expert in performance tuning data solutions, SQL and data base objects.
- Expert Data Analysis and profiling
- Experience with writing PL/SQL, T/SQL and/or other data base scripting languages
- Knowledge of data security, data quality and control
- Unix Shell Scripting
Salary : $101,000 - $205,700
