Job Title: Environmental Technician
Location: Denver, CO
Charles Taylor Environmental offers Pre and Post Remediation, Abatement, and Assessments for the residential and commercial property through specialized environmental sampling, consulting, and implementation of specific remediation and abatement protocols. Charles Taylor Environmental provides specialty services to clients throughout the U.S., including asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, sewage and soot assessments, and indoor air quality testing to meet the unique needs of the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
We are currently seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team of talented professionals in our Denver location. CT Environmental technicians work with minor to major catastrophic losses. CT Environmental is committed to providing immediate response to mitigate our client's environmental risk. We have fantastic opportunities for Environmental Technicians with unique specialist knowledge to join one of the newest businesses within our organization, and it's growing fast!
Responsibilities:
- Full Life Cycle High Volume Low Severity Claim resolution
- Personal Lines Property & Small Commercial
- Asbestos and Lead Surveys/Clearances
- Mold and Moisture Surveys/Clearances
- Project Monitoring
- Indoor Air Quality Assessments
- Field Investigations
- Produce field documentation in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of experience as an Environmental Field Technician
- Current certifications in the following:
- EPA and CO Certified Asbestos Building Inspector – Required
- EPA and CO Certified Air Monitoring Specialist – Required
- EPA and CO Certified Lead-Based Paint Inspector – Preferred
- NIOSH 582 or 582E Certified – Preferred
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified – Preferred
- Certified Mold Inspector – Preferred
- Highly motivated, positive, approachable, and proactive
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) with exceptional attention to detail
Physical Capabilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position require the following physical capabilities:
- Willing and able to perform observation and evaluation tasks in elevated, exposed conditions.
- Willing and able to perform observation and evaluation tasks in narrow, shallow, or otherwise confined conditions.
- Able to stand for extended periods as required to perform field assessments.
- Able to lift and carry 50-pounds.
