Systems Analyst 3 -- IS Apps Revenue Cycle -- Northgate-400 Association Dr.

Job Summary

Responsible for application support and implementation within the Information Services Department. Demonstrates elevated computer operational skills. Should be able to perform difficult application diagnostics and troubleshooting. Must be able to mentor more junior level staff on department procedure and application support and/or implementation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uses established procedures and working with minimal supervision performs work that is varied and that may be difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. • Responsible for directing more junior level employees on task assignment for support and implementation effort. • Responsible for writing operational automation scripts and/or programs to minimize manual process. • Provides documented support tasks to be able to assist other department members or more junior team members. • Responsible for understanding and utilizing vendor’s version control methodology. • Responsible for system audit log review providing appropriate response. • Must understand end user workflow requirements that are supported by technology. • In process or have completed certification/accreditation for specific vendor and/or governing body related to specific applications/tools for which responsible for reporting. • Responsible for extracting specified data from supported system(s). • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Education

Bachelor's Degree (Required) Substitution: May substitute more than 8 years of relevant experience for the bachelor degree. Experience: 5-8 years of related information technology or clinical technical support experience, including 2 years of cerner millennium or cerner products.
