Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing automotive service requests, and ensuring efficient operations within our repair facility. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication and sales skills, and a passion for the automotive industry, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome

- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their service requests

- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs or services to customers

- Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts costs

- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs or services

- Maintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the repair process

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner

- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair processes

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

- Proficient computer skills for managing service requests and maintaining records
